Configure Google Mail

Instructions for configuring Google Mail

This page provides setup instructions for Google Mail on mobile and desktop devices. It also provides information on Settings options within the web client of Google Mail.  Click on the appropriate icon below to access specific instructions on each platform. 


Before you begin configuring Google Mail on a mobile or desktop device you will need to sign in to your Google Mail and modify your settings.


  • Logon to Google Mail.  In the top right corner of the screen, click the Gear icon, then Settings. The Settings screen will open.

  • On the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab, under IMAP Access, click Enable IMAP.  Then, at the bottom of the screen, click Save Changes. 



                                     

Now click on the relevant icon below for details of setting up Google mail in your chosen app.
